Panchkhal Municipality in Nepal has a strong agricultural foundation and significant potential for tourism development. The municipality is exploring innovative ways to promote agricultural tourism and eco-tourism as a means of creating local employment opportunities and supporting broader economic growth.

A dedicated team has been working to identify practical and sustainable ideas that strengthen the agricultural sector while leveraging the region’s natural landscape and resources to attract visitors. By integrating tourism with everyday rural life, there is an opportunity to create meaningful experiences that connect people to farming practices, local traditions, and the natural environment.

Through the promotion of sustainable agriculture, Panchkhal aims to showcase the richness of its rural landscape while offering visitors an authentic cultural experience. This effort also opens the door for collaboration between local farmers and the tourism sector to co-develop approaches that support economic development while preserving the natural resources and ecological balance of the municipality.
