Climate change is widely discussed at a global level, but in Panchkhal Municipality, its impacts are already part of everyday life. Conversations with residents highlight pressing challenges—from water scarcity and overreliance on deep boring to the looming risk of flooding from the Sunkoshi River.

In response, there is a growing urgency to find ways to manage these risks while supporting sustainable development. Residents are seeking approaches that strengthen resilience—through better water management, climate adaptation strategies, and disaster preparedness.

This challenge opens up space for collaboration, bringing together expertise in renewable resources, water systems, and infrastructure. By working collectively, Panchkhal has the opportunity to develop solutions that not only address immediate climate risks but also support a more sustainable and secure future for the community.
